First I would like to thank Sharon in this practice. She did a great job as a partner and gave me many ideas and help. Thank you Sharon!

In this exercise Sharon said “Hello, my name is Sharon, I come from Democratic Republic of the Congo! I like playing sports” in Fench. We had each other recorded in the recording studio and to animate with the audio file, which means Procreat will no longer help me and I must get it start to work with PC software. Tvpaint was my choice.

I made a sample character design of Sharon, and some ideas of key shouts.

According to feedbacks I decided to add more changing pose and movement. Playing a football is one of the ideas.

When I was animating these poses, I find that it is very difficult to show someone is passing ball with her head, instead of beening hit back by the ball! So I watched some football game slow playback as references, and added some action on arms before ball is comming. It can tell the character is taking active action before the ball reaches her.

I have to say that it is quite painful to see how my hands and brain work so terribly on Tvpaint but I believe I will get over it soon.
