Animation Teacher

In most art universities in China, there are many high-level requirements to become a teacher or college staff. But there are other kinds of opportunities:
Art education blogger. Most of them are concept designers, or art designers, animators. Devices like ipad are very popular today, it leads a great number of people, who are not educated in art school but would like to try draw something. On platforms like Red Book, there are many kinds of art tutorial courses, in categories like animation, sketch, modeling, etc. I have spoken to an agent organization that provide course design service for artists. They can help to build online or offline classes from recruit students to advertise course. But jobs like this are not very stable. After research, I find that there is another similar Chinese course agency platform, CCtalk, that just go broke. There are hundreds of artists signed with it in past years and now each of them is owned thousands of Pounds. I will put it in my backup plan.

Another way is to do everything myself. I have already made a general plan, by starting with tiny courses for beginners, like 5 students, or one-to-one every time. The course will take place in online chat apps. Before it, I’ll try some other artists’ courses to know more about this field.

Being any kind of teacher won’t be easy. Course assistant is also a considerable job, which takes less responsibilities, and learn new things doing the job. In China, a regural online animation course leader may need at least 2-3 assistants for each class. Like Magic Leader. Assisstants don’t do any lectures but will give students feedback. But some of them are only for offline courses.
